Ritzy Grooming

Kim is the owner of Ritzy Grooming. This is her story:

I started grooming my mini Schnauzer when I was about 10 years old.  My Mom bought me a book and a pair of clippers. Around that same time we moved to Gilbert and had our own little farm  I learned how to groom goats and won almost every grooming contest. In my 20's I started breeding mini Schnauzers and would have the puppies come back to me for grooming.  I was in-between jobs and answered an ad in the news paper for a grooming position.  The owner had me groom her dog and was thrilled with my skills and hired me on the spot.  Over the next few years I worked for 3 different grooming shops.  The worst part about the shops was that they loaded all the dogs for the day into the shop at 8 a.m. and when 1 dog barked, they all did.  I loved grooming but didn't like the way dogs were terrified all day. So,  I decided I could make more money with less stress if I worked from home and did one dog an hour.  I made flyers and walked through my neighborhood distributing them every weekend.  At the end of 2019 I decided to open a store front shop.  Today I have 4 groomers and working and we are very busy.  I am very passionate about animals and I've raised just about every domestic and farm animal that you can imagine.  (I even had a Skunk for a pet when I was in high school).

Kim is currently only available for returning customers and is in the shop about once every 6 weeks.
